Unrest in the Middle East: How will it Affect Israel’s Future?  Congregation Or Atid invites you to join us as we hear AIPAC’s (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) New England Area Director Ben Marchette discuss the situation in the Middle East, including the upheavals in Egypt, and its impact on Israel.  Mr. Marchette will also discuss the AIPAC Policy Conference in Washington DC (May 22-24). 

Raised in Sudbury, Ben Marchette has a Master’s degree in Middle East and National Security Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, where he served as Administrator for the University Seminar on the Middle East.  He has lived and worked throughout the Middle East, including stints at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the U.S. Department of State in Kuwait.
