This three-session mini-course will teach beginners how to identify birds commonly seen in Eastern Massachusetts. In the two evening sessions, participants will practice identifying birds from slides. The class will be taught by SVT Executive Director Ron McAdow, a novice birder for thirty years.
On Saturday, May 7, participants will take their new skills into the field to try them out on real birds. Meet at Heard Farm in Wayland, 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
