Marijuana Businesses, Voting Rights For Resident Aliens, Library Funds: Wayland Town Meeting

Some 32 articles have been submitted for consideration for Wayland's annual town meeting.

WAYLAND, MA — For Wayland's annual town meeting, 32 warrant articles have been submitted so far.

Town Meeting begins on Sunday, April 2, at 1 p.m. in the Wayland High School Field House.

Information relating to the 2017 Annual Town Meeting will be posted on the website here as it becomes available.

Articles submitted for possible inclusion so far include a change to the bylaw so that the town clerk would be appointed, not elected. Other articles concern the laws surrounding permanent resident aliens residing in Wayland, preserving historic buildings through demo delay, a moratorium on recreational marijuana businesses and approving funds for town library.
