Fighting Hunger With Free Alarm Systems

The following was taken from a recent Boston Globe article:

"Nearly 50 million people in America — including 16 million children — are food insecure. This means that kids, the elderly, college students, veterans and working families often don’t know if or when their next meal is coming.

Though it seems daunting, we know how to solve this problem. But it will take sustained contributions and broader recognition that hunger and food insecurity are affecting more than just the poor and working poor. Every day we see the new faces of hunger — middle-class families who make too much money to qualify for government assistance, but not enough to put food on the table. With rising costs and decreasing wages, these families constantly wrestle with difficult decisions. Do they pay their medical bills or buy gas? Cover their rent or purchase food?"

Safeguard Security and Surveillance, Inc. is a locally owned (Natick) security company that has been in business for over 20 years, and has been consistently ranked in the top 10 out of over 18,000 security companies in the US.  We install home and/or business alarm systems for FREE (GE systems) and the customer is responsible for the monthly monitoring fee only.  If the customer already has a security system, Safeguard will replace and upgrade their system for free.

I am raising money for the Parmenter Food Pantry and the Greater Boston Food Bank.  For any person or business that completes an alarm installation, $100 will be donated, on their behalf, to either of these charities.  My goal is to raise $20,000 this holiday season!

Thank you for supporting this worthy cause.
