Video: Fire At Russell's Garden Center In Wayland
A truck fire broke out at the Route 20 garden center in Wayland on Thursday.
WAYLAND, MA — Wayland firefighters responded to Russell's Garden Center along the Boston Post Road Thursday morning for a vehicle on fire.
The fire broke out just before 8:30 a.m. at the business, according to Chief Neil McPherson. The dump truck was a total loss, he said, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
A video posted to the department's Twitter feed shows a firefighter spraying a fully engulfed truck with water, nearly putting out the blaze within about 30 seconds.
