Wayland Boys' Hockey Skates Through First-Round Match
The Warriors topped Dracut Thursday night.
WAYLAND, MA - The Wayland boys' hockey team topped Dracut 4-2 Thursday night to earn a spot in the quarterfinal round of the North Division 3 sectional of the MIAA tournament.
The No. 6 Warriors netted four goals on the way to the 4-2 victory of No. 11 Dracut.
Wayland now prepares for a Sunday quarterfinal match-up against No. 3 Latin Academy, which earned a bye for the first round.
The quarterfinal match will take place at the Chelmsford Forum on Sunday, March 6. The puck drops at 5:20 p.m.
