Seasonal & Holidays
What's Open, Closed on the 4th of July (and the Day Before)?
You might want to hurry and make that bank deposit before the weekend.

Saturday is Independence Day, and chance are you’ve got plans for the weekend. Make sure your propane tank is filled, you’ve got some sparklers and there are enough buns and beer.
You’ll need to know what’s open, or closed. You’re welcome.
Note: some banks are closed on July 3, as well, observing the holiday on Friday (call ahead). Check with your town hall, as many have modified hours, or are closed. Libraries, too, are closed.
July 3 is considered a federal holiday. Massachusetts, however, celebrates the official holiday on the Fourth of July.
