élan Fine Consignment opens new store in Wellesley on Washington St.

The store focuses on high end designer clothing, handbags, jewelry and accessories.

The owner of élan, Kim Hutchings had a long career in the fashion industry before spending several years in high end consignment with Second Time Around as manager of the Wellesley store and District Manager over several of their other stores.

She opened her own store because she "missed the customers and the excitement of offering high end one-of-a-kind pieces at great prices .  Our store is fun and has a boutique feel and quality to it".

“At élan you’ll be able to get just about anything,” Hutchings  continued. “From CHANEL and HERMES handbags, to BURBERRY , Alexander McQueen and Tory Burch  clothing, plus designer jeans and fun accessories."

The hours are M-Sa 10-6 and Su 12-5.
