After years of stalled planning, officials will host an Oct. 1 public meeting at the high school to discuss options for this key open-space parcel.

• DCAMM Offers 72-Acre Campus for Housing Development (bankerandtradesman.com) — State officials are marketing a former Lancaster school campus for hundreds of new homes, while also facing pushback over a proposed apartment complex on a Massachusetts Bay Community College parking lot in Wellesley. The Wellesley Select Board has sued to challenge DCAMM's plan to sell that local property to a private developer, highlighting continuing tensions over state-led housing projects in town.
