Recreation Department Hosts Color Wars

The Wellesley Recreation Department's Camp Joey summer camp hosted a little friendly rivalry and a lot of summer fun with its Color Wars competition last Friday. 

The competitions, including a Dizzy Bat Relay, indoor obstacle course and bean bag relay, among other activities, pitted teams of summer campers against one another by color. The teams were red, blue, yellow, green, orange and purple, said Katie Sweeney, director of the Counselors in Training (CITs). Members of each team were easy to tell apart - everyone wore their respective color for the day.

Team Orange won the day with the most points.
