Framingham Cyclist, 47, Struck by Wellesley Driver
Wellesley Police have arrested a man, 21, for striking a Framingham cyclist Friday night. He was charged with operating a vehicle, while under the influence of alcohol. Wellesley Police said the cyclist was a Framingham man, 47.
Wellesley Man Was Drinking All Day Prior to Hit-and-Run
A 21-year-old man who struck a bicyclist Friday and then fled the scene had been drinking throughout the day, police said. Connor Campanelli hit the 47-year-old Framingham man as they were traveling in opposite directions on Hampshire Road near Bristol Road. He drove off, but turned himself in to police later that evening.
Newton-Wellesley Hospital Nurses Authorize Strike
Registered nurses at Newton-Wellesley Hospital on Wednesday voted overwhelmingly in favor of authorizing a strike. According to Massachusetts Nurses Association, the union that represents close to 1,000 nurses at Newton-Wellesley, ninety percent of voters supported the option to strike.

Wellesley Man Pleads Not Guilty to Cyclist Hit-and-Run
A Wellesley man has plead not guilty to serious charges stemming from a hit-and-run on Friday. Connor Campanelli, 21, turned himself in to police Friday after a witness placed him at the scene of the accident. According to law enforcement, Campanelli hit a 47-year-old Framingham man riding his bike on Hampshire Road while the two were traveling in opposite directions.
