Town Planning Sept. 11 Memorial Observance

Police, Fire Department, Veterans Council to hold ceremonies to remember lives lost.

Wellesley will hold a memorial ceremony to remember the events of and lives lost on Sept. 11,  2001 this Saturday at the Wellesley Fire Department, 457 Worcester Road, at 9:45 a.m.

Four Wellesley residents lost their lives during the terrorist attacks on that day: John Cahill,  Neilie Casey, Edmund Glazer and Patrick Quigley.

The ceremony is organized through the cooperation of the Wellesley Fire Department,  Police Department and Veterans' Council.

Refreshments will be served immediately following the ceremony at the Fire Department.
