Watch Out For The Sinkhole On Rt. 9
MassDOT is on the scene and repairs are underway, according to the Wellesley Police Department.

WELLESLEY, MA — Expect delays on the commute home tonight as repair crews work on a large sinkhole on Route 9 East prior to Route 15 near Shaw Road.

By way of reminder, a sinkhole is usually caused by water erosion under the ground and then the last thing to give way is the top part. Another fun fact is that they're often a side effect of a water main break.
