Wellesley High Girls' Ice Hockey Coach Retires
George Campbell's retirement was announced on Twitter Tuesday.

Wellesley, MA – George Campbell, the head coach of the Wellesley High School girls' ice hockey team, is hanging up his whistle. But it won't remain on the shelf for long.
Campbell's retirement was announced on the Wellesley Raiders Twitter page Tuesday morning.
George Campbell has retired as the Head Girls Ice Hockey Coach at WHS. Thank you for all that you have done for the Hockey Program.

According to the Swellesley Report, Campbell will continue to coach the 8th grade football team in Wellesley and will remain the Wellesley High School freshman and assistant softball coach. He will also begin coaching middle school girls' ice hockey this winter.

Campbell has been the girls' hockey coach at Wellesley High since the team was formed in 1996. Following the announcement of his retirement, the Raiders' lacrosse and girls' basketball teams took to Twitter to celebrate Campbell's coaching career.
