Yesterday, a Wellesley Patch reader wrote in to ask what happened to the Dunkin’ Donuts near Newton Lower Falls.
“Any idea what's going on w/ the Dunkin' near Lower Falls?” the reader wrote yesterday via Twitter. “Yesterday got my tea as usual in the AM, this AM it's gutted.”
What Happened Here? went to the scene and sure enough, the shop was boarded up.

Word from another Wellesley Patch reader is the Dunkin’ Donuts is simply going through a remodeling process and will be operational again in a few weeks.
WHH? will keep tabs on the situation (especially considering WHH? drives by the donut shop daily).
