Wellesley Theatre Project to Perform Annie, Jr.

The sun'll come out July 29 and 30.

WELLESLEY, MA – The Wellesley Theatre Project's newest production is Annie, Jr., an adaptation of the "Little Orphan Annie" comic strip by Harold Gray and subsequent Tony Award-winning show.

The musical includes all of your favorite classic tunes, including "It's the Hard-Knock Life" and "Tomorrow." Follow along as little orphan Annie charms her way into everyone's hearts, despite a meager start in 1930s New York City.

Annie is determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. With the help of her friends at the orphanage, Annie sets out into New York City for a fun-filled adventure and ultimately finds a home with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
