Vets say the tiny turtle is eating, swimming, and showing distinct personalities in each head while they study its unusual anatomy. The case adds to several similar finds previously linked to Wellfleet Bay.

5. Rare desert bird from Mexico spotted across Cape Cod (capecodtimes.com) — Birders around Wellfleet may want to look up: a rare Crested Caracara, a desert raptor usually found in Mexico and the southern U.S., has been spotted across Cape Cod, including near town. Sightings have continued through late September, drawing growing attention on eBird and social media from local and visiting birdwatchers.
