2 Town Students to Perform at Symphony Hall

students Andrew Metzger, 16, and Yeonkyu “Daryl” Yang, 17, will perform at Symphony Hall on Sunday, March 25 as part of the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra (BYSO). Metzer will play double bass and Yang will play trumpet.

Music Director Federico Cortese will conduct the group for a performance of Brahms’ German Requiem. The students will be performing with Back Bay Chorale, Grammy winning soprano Ana María Martínez and baritone Weston Hurt.

This concert will also include a performance by BYSO’s Young People’s String Orchestra and members of the Intensive Community Program conducted by Marta Zurad.

The concert will begin at 3 p.m. Tickets $25 and $30 and students and seniors receive a $5 discount. Purchase tickets by calling Symphony Charge at 617-266-1200 or visit the Symphony Hall box office.
