8 WHS Students Awarded Rotary Scholarships
The group received awards at a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Westborough.

Eight graduating seniors were presented Scholarship Awards during the Rotary Club of Westborough’s Scholarship Luncheon, Wednesday, June 13.
Club president Paul McGrath, pictured on the far left, awarded each a scholarship and a Rotary pen. The winners include and are pictured from left to right:

- Hajira Shamsi, who plans to attend Northeastern University with a major in international affairs and pre-law
- Lillian Chen, who is traveling to Clarkson University to study environmental sciences
- Joshua Saari who will be attending Regis College with aspirations to becoming a registered nurse
- John Eagan, who has been accepted to St. Joseph’s University and plans on a business degree with a concentration in food marketing
- Michael Bogian-Mullen, who will attend Northeastern University with a concentration on pre-med to become a doctor
- Melissa Barnes, who will be off to the University of Massachusetts to study hospitality and tourism
- Naloti Palma, who will be a student at Westfield State College with a major in criminal justice
- Absent from the picture is Kiernan Drohan who will be studying computer science at the University of Massachusetts who hopes for a career in cyber security and justice.
