A Fundraiser, a School Committee Meeting, and A Grand Opening.

What's on tap for May 11, 2011

Looking for a great way to spend a Wednesday evening? Check out the grand opening of Rooms With a View, Colonial Plaza, 45 E. Main St., Suite 7, Westborough. Rooms With a View has moved and this is their new location. They will be celebrating their grand opening with a ribbon cutting from 4 to 7 p.m. Stop in anytime!

Last chance to have your voice heard before Town Meeting. The school committee is meeting at 6 p.m. tonight in the Forbes Municipal Office Building, conference room 23, 45 W. Main St. Come and here what's new at your kid's school and learn about what matters to those in the know with the schools.

Like Whiskey? It's Whiskey Wednesday at Julio's Liquors, 140 Turnpike Rd. Stop by from 7 to 8 p.m. Try the Glendronach with Gregory Fitch. The line-up to try is as follows: the Glendronach 12, Glendronach 15 and Glendronach 18. This is the Jim Beam Cold Storage Warehouse.

Curl up with your favorite preschooler and read a story. Miss Tina's Storytime will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Tatnuck Bookseller, 18 Lyman St. Admission is free and stories are all geared towards young children.

Interested in football or cheering? The Shrewsbury American Youth Football and Cheer is teaming up with Jenny Boston Boutique from 7 to 9 p.m. at 45 E. Main St., Westborough for a fabulous fundraiser and information night. This is a great opportunity to shop and learn about a great organization dedicated to children and their sports success.
