Autobahn USA Coming to Route 9

Autobahn USA will open a dealership at the former Westborough Buick GMC site on Route 9.

The dealership at 88 Turnpike Road will allow Autobahn to "better serve all past and future customers of Autobahn USA," according to an announcement on the dealership's website.

"We would like to thank our customers for all your support over the 14 years, and your support helped us grow to one of the largest luxury pre-owned dealers in New England. We will keep you posted on a move date as we get closer," the announcement says.

Autobahn USA's website bills the dealers as the "leading Boston Used Car Dealer - Audi, BMW, Mercedes."

Westborough Buick GMC now is located at 150 Turnpike Road.

Monday night, the Westborough Zoning Board of Appeals held a public hearing on a request by Autobahn dealership owner Sam Zadah and Gail Chandler of Diversified Sign and Design for a variance from the town's sign regulations.

The applicants want to install a ground sign and three wall signs.

The ZBA requested a stamped professional surveyor's plan showing the signs' proposed locations, and continued the hearing to 7:45 p.m. March 4.
