Blueberry Wine Coming to Farmers' Market

Vandervalk Farm and Winery gets seasonal license.

Small blueberry wine samples from a Mendon farmer-winery will join the upcoming Westborough Farmers' Market's offerings.

Tuesday night, Vandervalk Farm and Winery received the board of selectmen's approval for a seasonal vintner's agricultural event/farmers market special liquor license for June 13 to Sept. 26 at the Congregational Church of Westborough.

The Westborough Farmers' Market will run from noon to 6 p.m. every Thursday at the church during this period.

Selectmen approved the same license for Zoll Brothers Private Cellar Winery on May 14.
