WHS Art Students Excel at State Art Festival
WHS art students excel at Scholastic Art Awards
Westborough High School had 21 students submit works for the Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards. Fifteen of these works received recognitions
of either Honorable Mention, Silver, or Gold Key awards. Thank you to WHS visual arts teacher Mr. John Hayes-Nikas and Ms. Pamela Rourke-Dupuis for encouraging these students to submit works, and instructing them through the process.
Gold and Silver Key works will
be on display at the State Transportation Building, 10 Park Plaza, Boston from
February 11ththrough April 19th, 2013, M-F 9 to 5 PM and
Sunday noon- 4 PM. Gold Key art work will
then travel to Washington for the National Show. Awards were as follows:
