WESTBOROUGH, MA — A star athlete visited Westborough this week, and a nonprofit in the town received a large gift.
Olympic gold medalist and Boston Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman visited an Amazon same-day delivery station in Westborough on Monday for a community event. He worked with employees, led their daily startup and signed the outside of customer packages that went out for delivery on Monday, Amazon said.
During the event, Swayman also showed off his 2026 Olympic gold medal. The 27-year-old was part of the Team USA men's hockey team that beat Canada in the 2026 Winter Olympics to win a gold medal. It was the nation's first gold medal in the event in 46 years.

The nonprofit also operates Ben's Beans, which opened in September 2024, doubles as a coffee shop and a hospitality learning lab for adults.
More than 20 Post-22 participants and staff were in the room when Amazon presented the large check. The organization will put the funding toward its adult employment and training programs, Amazon said.
At the event, Swayman and Marty Walsh, NHLPA Executive Director, also talked with Post-22 participants and Amazon employees during a question-and-answer session.
