Katia Lisita will donate all of this Tuesday's proceeds to help the club attend a national tournament.

Katia Lisita has time this Tuesday for three more eyebrow waxings, and no more facials by her.

The owner of Westborough’s KaLis Day Spa then hopes to write a check for at least $1,000.

“I said, ‘How about if I give one whole day of my work to help you?’” she said Thursday.

Lisita said she hopes to raise $1,000 toward the team’s goal of $3,000 to $4,000. The team includes about eight kids, ages 8 to 14, she said.

“This has come close to my heart. It’s my son, I feel bad when people want to do something special, especially for education,” she said.

As of Thursday morning, Lisita said she’s booked “full from 9 (a.m.) to almost 8 p.m.” Tuesday, with openings just for three eyebrow waxings.

However, the massage schedule is open, and that employee also does facials, she said.

“One person called (Wednesday) and said, ‘I heard you’re having a fundraiser, and I’d like to come for a facial.’ I don’t know who she is. She’s never come in here before. How nice is that?” Lisita said.

Five $70 gift certificates will be available Tuesday as well, she said.

“I thought, ‘If I’m busy, maybe they can buy some gift certificates if they don’t want to donate money. At least they can use the service later,’” said Lisita, who has operated KaLis Day Spa at her home at 146 Milk St., for about six years.
