DPW Flushing Hydrants, May Discolor Water
Residents should run cold water faucets for a few minutes after the flushing.

The (DPW) will be flushing fire hydrants through June 9 on the following streets: Otis, Fisher, Whipple Tree, Assabet, Edward Dunn, Maynard, and the Arch / Glen area. Also included will be various dead end water mains throughout the town.
Flushing will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday. According to a statement from the DPW, residents should run their cold water faucet for two to three minutes to clear the water service line after the flushing and check water color before consuming or doing laundry.

A message board will be placed in the area to be flushed prior to flushing.
