Owner, Luigi Collavini at Julio's Sharing His Wines With You

Luigi Collavini is part of the fourth generation to lead the winery founded by his great grandfather, Eugenio Collavini, in 1896. Luigi grew up among the Friulian vineyards on his family’s estate and recalls picking grapes during harvest as one of his earliest memories. Luigi left the winery as a young man to train and work in the industry in France and England. He returned to the family business in the late 1980s and has since been involved in almost every aspect of the operation—including sales, public relations and marketing. He currently heads up domestic sales for Collavini and oversees marketing and PR efforts for key international markets. He works with his two brothers and their father to carry on the legacy of combining tradition and innovation to produce the finest wines from the Friuli region.
