Westborough Historical Society Sponsors Architectural Walk and Open House

The Westborough Historical Society will sponsor “19th-Century Architecture – A Stroll with Music," an architectural walk and open house, on Sunday, Sept. 23.


The group will meet at 2 p.m. at the corner of Church and West Main streets.


Cultural resource expert Chris Noonan of Preservation Services Inc. will discuss Westborough’s 19th-century architecture, landscape and streetscapes on a walk northward on Church Street from West Main to Fisher Street. The tour will be interspersed with selections highlighting 19th-century music traditions performed by Westborough’s own Luanne Crosby.

The society will hold an open house after the walk, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Sibley House, 13 Parkman St.


The rain date is Sunday, Sept. 30.
