Three short films about three Westborough families will be screened. The story of each film was created by the parents, who will be present to talk about their experiences. In the first film, "Super Jackson," a mother interviews the superhero inside her 4 year old son. In "A Summery Morning," a mother documents her morning with her children, and in "Magical Owen," parents celebrate the interest of their child in magic and music.
Guests will learn a lot more about the process that made these films possible directly from the filmmaker, Daqqa, who created it, and the films, for her master’s project at Emerson College. The project is the result of a collaboration between Daqqa, Westborough TV, and Emerson College. The screening and presentation are free and open to the public.
