The community is invited to a special evening at Tatnuck
Books with author A.S. King on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Ms. King, the author of our townwide reading book, Please Ignore Vera Dietz, will speak at 7 pm and sign copies of her books. Westborough Reads Together is the first-ever townwide reading project that was organized to
provide a forum on social issues for Westborough teens and adults through a shared reading experience. The book has been used for discussion groups, Skype visits with the author, and as the basis for special events including the Video Festival currently underway through Westborough TV. She will spend the day at Westborough High School for an all-grades assembly; will then have lunch with a few lucky students who won "Lunch with the Author"; teach a writing workshop to a class and end the school day with a book signing in the WHS Library.
The event at Tatnuck is free and open to the public, and would be of interest to teens and adults. For more information, contact the Westborough Public Library at 508-366-3050 or check the Westborough Reads Together website at http://www.westboroughreadstogether.com/
