Former CarLux to Sell Used Cars Again

The former CarLux site on Route 9 again will sell used cars.

Tuesday night, selectmen approved a Class II Used Vehicle license to Clear Sky Global Inc. for up to four used cars at 240 Turnpike Road.

The approval is contingent on Building Commissioner Tin Htway's review of the plans.

"This is the first I've heard of this," Htway said.

Clear Sky Global's Mo Bayou told selectmen that the used car sales there "had a really good run for four or five years" before he "shifted gears into the import/export business."

Now, "I'm looking for something that's smaller scale" for the used car sales, Bayou said.

The business will use six parking spaces: four for used cars, one for customer parking and one for customer parking, he said.
