Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

The Snow Bowl's plans were approved by Health Inspector Terry Gilchrist in April, she told the board of health in her April inspection report. Gilchrist said she also discussed the plans with Snow Bowl owner Ken Kim. The Snow Bowl would be Westborough's third frozen yogurt shop. IYogurt plans to open at the Westborough Shopping Center, at 30 Lyman St. Gilchrist said she has approved the plans. Fruitti Cup opened at 31 South St., near the Westborough rotary, last summer.
