The Town of Westborough Department of Public Works is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the full time position of Maintenance Craftsperson I in the Highway Division. This position performs skilled manual work in the operation of public works vehicles and equipment and in performing construction and maintenance activities. This position is responsible for operating public works heavy equipment for all public works projects and is responsible for keeping licenses for these operations current. Applicants shall possess a high school diploma or equivalent; one to three years of experience in public works and/or construction or maintenance activities; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants must have a Massachusetts CDL Class B or greater or ability to be licensed within six months of hire. Must have Massachusetts Hoisting License for Backhoe/ Front End Loader within 6 months of hire.
