Large Lottery Prize Sold At Westborough Convenience Store

The prize was won from the Massachusetts State Lottery's Mass Cash game.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A large lottery prize was sold at a convenience store in the town this week.

On Tuesday, Mar. 24, a $100,000 prize was sold at Nouria, at 128 Turnpike Rd. The prize was won from the Massachusetts State Lottery's Mass Cash game.

To win, a player must match three or more of their five chosen numbers to the numbers drawn. If a player matches all five numbers, they win the game's top prize of $100,000.

The probability of winning a prize that large from the Mass Cash game is one in 324,632, according to the State Lottery. Mass Cash drawings occur daily.

The state lottery commission did not share who won the prize, but the retailer that sells a winning ticket typically receives a bonus from the Lottery.

Another winning ticket of the same amount was also sold in Massachusetts this week. A $100,000 prize was sold at from the Energy North Store in Winthrop from the Mass Cash game.
