Here is the Connect-Ed message sent to parents on Sunday, March 6:

This is Reene Hatherley, Mill Pond Principal. I am contacting you this evening to remind you that tomorrow, March 7, will be the first day for our slightly earlier start time to the school day.

Here is the plan beginning on Monday, March 7:
- Students will be picked up at their bus stops as usual at the usual time.
- Buses will begin to let students get off the buses beginning at 7:40 a.m. (a change from the current 7:45 a.m.). Staff members will be on duty at that time as well.
- Students will come into school five minutes earlier than the 7:55 a.m. bell, at 7:50 a.m.
Students who are being dropped off by parents or guardians should be at school before 8:03 a.m. If you will be driving your child to school, I strongly encourage you to arrive before 8 a.m., as it will take your child several minutes to walk into the school and get to the classroom. You may drop off your child as early as 7:40 a.m.
