The name of Westborough High School's new principal will be announced during Wednesday night's school committee meeting.
The announcement is scheduled for 7:10 p.m., the agenda says. The board meets in the Forbes Municipal Building.
In December, Principal John Smith said he is resigning at the end of the school year, ending six years here. At that time, School Superintendent Marianne O’Connor said Smith will pursue “other interests in the field of education.”
In January, O'Connor posted the job in-house based on the faculty's input.

In February, O'Connor announced that Assistant Principal Brian Callaghan is a candidate for the post. Callaghan met with staff and community members separately on Feb. 26.
