Turnout for today's Democratic and Republican U.S. Senate primaries has been slow in Westborough entering the final hours.
At 4:35 p.m., 168 people had voted at the Hastings Elementary School, which has Precinct 5.
At 4:50 p.m., 600 people had voted at the Mill Pond School, which has Precincts 2 and 4.

And at 5:08 p.m., 513 people had voted at the Gibbons Middle School, which has Precincts 1 and 3.

At 12:40 p.m., 360 people had voted at the Mill Pond School. At 12:50 p.m., 330 people had voted at the Gibbons Middle School. At 1:15 p.m., 110 people had voted at the Hastings Elementary School.
At 8:55 a.m., 93 people had voted at Gibbons. Shortly after 9 a.m., 165 people had voted at Mill Pond. And as of around 9:30 a.m., 55 people had voted at Hastings.
Voters statewide today will choose the candidates for the June 25 special election to fill the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by John Kerry’s appointment to Secretary of State.
The Republican candidates are former Naval Special Warfare Lieutenant Commander Gabriel Gomez, former U.S. Attorney Mike Sullivan and state Rep. Daniel Winslow (R-Norfolk).
The Democratic candidates are U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-South Boston) and U.S. Rep. Edward Markey (D-Malden).
