Student Council Wins National Gold Rating

Whiz Kids: The Student Council

Accomplishments: The Massachusetts Association of Student Councils (MASC) named the Westborough High School Student Council as an MASC Gold Council of Excellence award winner. But wait, there’s more! The National Association of Students Councils also awarded its highest honor, the National Gold Council of Excellence award, to Westborough High School. According to a statement from Principal John Smith, this makes the Westborough group “the only Massachusetts school to be nationally recognized as a Gold Council since Middleboro High School won the same award in 2006.”

Key to Awesomeness: Long known for its outstanding program and community involvement, the Westborough High School Student Council continues to find ways to serve the school and the town. Congratulations to all of these talented student government leaders!
