Three Town Officials to Attend Wayland Town Meeting
They'll watch electronic voting machines used.

Three Westborough officials will attend Wayland’s town meeting next week to see electronic voting machines used.
Selectmen Vice Chairman George Barrette said Tuesday night that he, Selectman Denny Drewry and Advisory Finance Committee Chairman Edward Behn also will
“talk to some of the folks” there about their experiences with the machines.

“They’ve been very accommodating,” Barrette said during the Westborough Board of Selectmen’s annual post town meeting discussion with Behn, Town Moderator Joe Harrington and Town Manager Jim Malloy.
Barrette said the findings from Wayland will be reported to selectmen.

Town officials are exploring whether the machines make sense for Westborough financially and for promoting town meeting participation.
Crownridge Road resident Dominic Capriole recently offered the idea, to address privacy and accuracy concerns at town meeting.
