
Voters statewide today will choose the candidates for the June 25 special election to fill the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by John Kerry’s appointment to Secretary of State.
The special state primary polls will be open in Westborough from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Voters in Precincts 1 and 3 will vote at the Gibbons Middle School.

The Republican candidates are former Naval Special Warfare Lieutenant Commander Gabriel Gomez, former U.S. Attorney Mike Sullivan and state Rep. Daniel Winslow (R-Norfolk).
The Democratic candidates are U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-South Boston) and U.S. Rep. Edward Markey (D-Malden).
