Voters Hit Polls to Decide Fire House Funding Measure
Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Westborough voters go to the polls today to vote on .
This special election is the result of a vote taken at the where voters approved the appropriation of $11,208,000 for construction of a new fire station. That approval was contingent on debt exclusion funding, meaning that the $11.2 million would not be subject to the restrictions of Proposition 2 ½.

If the vote passes, residents agree to pay the $11.2 million over 20 years and outside of a levy limit of 2 ½ percent. If the vote fails, the approval of the fire station project on March 17 is defeated and the project will have to introduced to voters at a future town meeting, presumably with a different method of funding.

- Precinct 1 – gym, 20 Fisher St.
- Precinct 2 – gym, 111 East Main St.
- Precinct 3 – Gibbons Middle School gym, 20 Fisher St.
- Precinct 4 – gym, 6 Olde Hickory Path
- Precinct 5 – Mill Pond School gym, 6 Olde Hickory Path
