Westboro Tennis and Swim Club Project OK'd
A metal enclosure will be built around the tennis courts.

The Westboro Tennis and Swim Club will build a metal enclosure around its tennis courts.
Selectmen approved the project at 21-31 and 35 Chauncy St. after a site plan review public hearing Tuesday night.
“It’ll give you a chance to use those courts year-round,” Selectmen Chairman Ian Johnson said.

Project engineer Michael Dryden said the plans are for a metal enclosure around the tennis courts, rest rooms, a small storage area and second floor mezzanine.
The project will add 26 parking spaces to the site, Dryden said. The initial plans had 27 parking spaces, he said. One space will be removed toward addressing fire department concerns, he said.
