Westborough Issues Mandatory Water Restriction
Put away the hoses (in the daytime). There's a water restriction in Westborough.
The town of Westborough’s DPW on Tuesday informed residents that a mandatory water restriction is in place, effective immediately.
According to an announcement, this means there will be no non-essential outdoor water use between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. That means no sprinklers, no washing of cars and no washing of buildings during that time. Vegetable gardens and newly planted lawns are permitted to be watered at anytime.
