WESTBOROUGH, MA — A committee that helps shape the future of town buildings in Westborough is looking for one new member to join the team.
The Municipal Building Committee, which provides oversight and recommendations on town building projects, is seeking a new member. Those interested should apply by Thursday, August 13 at 4:30 p.m.
The committee was established during the 2005 Annual Town Meeting, under Article 39, which established the committee of five residents with various backgrounds, including architecture, construction management, facilities management, and planning.

The group is charged with overseeing new municipal construction and, if the Town Manager requests, to repair and reconstruct existing buildings. The group has since expanded to seven members.
Members of the committee are appointed by the Town Manager for three-year terms.
