The gift shop features American-made art, gifts, jewelry &amp; home décor, while the studio offers art classes and workshops for kids and adults. From ladies’ night out and date night events to after-school workshops and summer camp for kids and teens, there is something for everyone! We offer glass beadmaking (flameworking) and metalwork/jewelry classes to teens and adults. For ages 7 and up, we offer summer and school vacation art camps. We also host unique birthday party "experiences" for ages 7 to 70, as well as corporate team-building and fundraising events. Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

For the second straight year, the Westborough High School varsity softball team will open its season with six games on Cape Cod. The school committee this past week approved head coach Greg Rota's request to let the Rangers play in the Lady Falcon tournament in Mashpee and Falmouth on Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24. Westborough will play three games each day, staying overnight at the Falmouth Inn, Rota said. The Rangers will send 16 to 18 players, and two coaches, he said. The cost will be the same as last year: $80 per quad, which represents about $20 per person. "Last year was extremely valuable. The girls, I think after playing six games, they were ready to play softball at the beginning of the season."
