Wife's Car Gets Towed, Husband Runs Across Traffic to Assault Officers
After a Northborough couple's vehicle was towed for an expired license, the husband began to assault the officers, causing injuries.

A Northborough couple’s vehicle getting towed resulted in an angry husband, an assault, and an arrest in Westborough.
On Wednesday, Nov. 12, around 7:14 p.m., police stopped a 2010 Honda on Route 9 West near the Speedway Plaza lights. Kimberly Y. Scott, the driver, 49, 906 Bay Dr., Northborough, had a suspended license and police said the car would be towed.
As operators put the car on the tow truck, Dean Scott, 48 of the same address as Kimberly, came running across Route 9 from the area of Lowe’s. He was almost hit by a vehicle while crossing the street.

Dean was “extremely agitated about the vehicle being towed,” said police. Officers tried to calm him, but at one point, he attempted to run into traffic and had to be physically removed from the street.
Dean then began to assault two officers, with the officers and himself falling over the guardrail and down a slight embankment. He continued to assault the officers even after being sprayed with pepper spray. Officers were finally able to arrest him.
