Littleton Bull Still On The Loose
A bull escaped a Littleton auction site Tuesday and has led authorities on a chase through Groton and Ayer. It was still at large Friday.
AYER, MA — A 1,200-pound bull on Friday enjoyed its fourth day of freedom after escaping a Littleton farm auction this week. The bull made it all the way to Ayer, where it was last seen. Police said they have been forced to issue several "code red" alerts to local neighborhoods where the bull has been seen.
The bull had made itself scarce Friday night.
"Appears he either got on the horn and Uber'd himself to a greener pasture or he doesn't fancy the rain and has hunkered down somewhere out of sight!" the Ayer Police Department wrote on Facebook.

"We are asking people to not go out looking for the bull, as it may get spooked and move away from the last sighted area," Ayer police said in a statement. "Also, bulls can become aggressive if provoked, so we are asking anyone who may see the animal to not approach it."
