Medical Helicopter Lands on 495 in Westford, Transports Victim Seriously Hurt in Crash
A 39-year-old driver and a child passenger were hurt in crash on Route 495 north Sunday night.
A driver was seriously injured in a crash on Route 495 in Westford Sunday night.
A child was also injured in the crash, which happened on the northbound side of the highway at about 5 p.m.
A medical helicopter landed on the highway to transport the 39-year-old driver to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Police said the driver is from Lakeworth, Florida. The child suffered minor injuries and was transported to Lowell General Hospital. Police did not release their names.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
