Westford Man Charged in Prostitution Sting

A Westford man was one of 10 people charged in a recent prostitution sting in Nashua, N.H.
John Ashford, 36, of 2 North Main St., was arrested Wed., March 27 at a Nashua hotel.
Police said they set up the sting by placing an online advertisement that Ashford and nine other men responded to.

Ashford was charged with soliciting a prostitute, a misdemeanor.
One of the other men arrested included David Wihby, served as a senior staffer for U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-NH. Wihby resigned following his arrest.

These are the 10 men arrested in the sting:
- Eric Suliveras, 48, of 70 Little River Rd., Kingston, N.H.
- Robert Seely, 64, of 20 Leyden St., North Andover, Mass.
- Milas Thompson, 28, of 44 Bald Hill Rd., Raymond, N.H.
- John McCormack, 51, of 39 Stearns Rd., Amherst, N.H.
- Kevin Clark, 54, of 122 Poplar St., Manchester, N.H.
- Beau Burgess, 31, of 6 Depot St., Merrimack, N.H.
- David Wihby, 62, of 540 Kerney Cr., Manchester, N.H.
- John Ashford, 36, of 2 North Main St., Westford, Mass.
Police said Burgess had cocaine on him; he was charged with a felony narcotic offense.
