After a rewarding career as a registered nurse
in Boston and a continuing career as a fitness instructor, Ms.
Langenberg is now actively pursuing her passion for photography -
particularly landscape photography as well as nature, wildlife. She
has lived most of her life in New England and hopes to show the beauty
and spirit of this area through her images. Her joy in
photography began as a child taking black and white photos with a Kodak Brownie
Instamatic camera. As cameras improved, Ms. Langenberg continued photographing
people, places, and family celebrations. Recently she has attended classes
at New England School of Photography in Boston and participated in numerous
workshops throughout New England, learning the newest techniques of digital
photography. Her goal is to create images that evoke emotion and capture
the spirit and beauty of the world around us. She strives to find the best
quality light and the most vibrant color, all while capturing a compelling
composition. For her, it's not just taking a good snapshot anymore, it's making
an image that conveys a mood, a feeling, and perhaps even triggering a memory
within us.
